We specialize in Draft Crosses, by
breeding a Draft with a Thoroughbred (and other light horses), the result is a
strong horse with great bone and size. With the gentle temperament of the Draft
combined with the wind and athletic ability of the Thoroughbred, we feel we are
producing a powerful blend which is capable of meeting the demands of show
jumping, dressage, eventing and field hunting.
 We hear from many people who are in the
market for their first draft cross. Many times these are people who have
been involved with horses their entire lives and are now searching for a
“kinder, gentler ride” or they may be searching for a sane yet athletic
horse for their children to learn and compete with. We try to match our
horses with riders the best we can, some crosses are better in some disciplines
than others.
All our horses are hand selected for
temperament, confirmation, athletic ability, size and soundness. We know
what our buyer is looking for, so I can assure you that when you come to visit
you will enjoy what you see.
Many of our horses are only a 1/4
draft, which is making them lighter and more versatile for the competitive show
arena. We have
several
Hanoverian,
Holstiener and Dutch bred Warmbloods available as well.
