 Jules
Jules and Tammy are showing 1st level dressage now and got
a score of 64.33% at her last show. Jules writes: She is just so easy to be
around and does whatever is asked of her. I couldn't be more pleased. Tammy
bought her as a 2 yr old and started her. She is now 5 yrs old.

 TRUMAN
Truman is Maraka's other star, Clyde/Tb gelding, (Sire
is Devil's Wish, TB) this
picture was taken in April 2008, at Earl Warren, in Santa Barbara.
Maraka writes: He is so much fun and easy. . . . each horse I get from you
is better and better! No one can guess Truman's age or breed, most
guess
he is Dutch and about 8 yrs old, because he is so easy going. Thanks for

SERENA
Maraka on Serenity in a recent dressage show at El Capitan. Serenity is
a Belgian/Morgan cross. As you can see from the photos she has a big job,
taking care of the whole family!
Maraka is breeding Serena this year to a Holsteiner
stallion (Coromino),
she loves her so much, she just wants more!
Maraka recently purchased Truman (picture above), this
will be the fourth horse she has bought from us, She is having a blast showing
him . . . . .and the judges love him!

She is a lovely mare and is owned by Kristi Kitchen.

Austin's Show name
is Cat's Cadillac, he has received many accomplishment already including
American Warmblood Gold Medalist
In-Hand along with AWS USDFBC Southern Series Finals Award, Silver
Medalist.
Cathy writes: This year we will be
focusing on training and showing him in Jumper classes which he really
seems to enjoy. I am also planning on taking him on his first foxhunt this
fall. He was recently inspected and branded Red Preferred with the A W S.
All of this has been a bonus because the best
thing about Austin is his loving and social personality. I can not say enough
great things about him and draft-crosses; you guys sure know how to pick ‘em!

FLANNIGAN
Flannigan is a Perch/TB owned by Susan McGrath
Susan writes: He is wonderfully balanced and
moves very well. He has had very good dressage scores although he likes
jumping much more and is an amazing jumper. I have had him in training
since I purchased him three years ago. A little over a year ago he
started training over fences. He has done extremely well in eventing
tests and loves the action of shows--he is a very friendly and outgoing
guy!

I
bought Katrina in September 2005 from Chuck Koop at the Center for
Equestrian Arts in San Ramon. Since that date, she and I have been in
eventing training at Denville-Kanani Ranch in Pleasanton, CA
Katrina had her first competition experiences this year and has had a fabulous
debut!!!! She took 2nd place, Open Novice Division at Twin Rivers in
March and then took 5th place, Open Novice Division at Twin Rivers in
April. I have attached a picture of her at this event.
She is
absolutely in her element on the cross country course and she absolutely loves
it. She has a fabulous work ethic and she is very forward.

HUDSON

Percheron/TB
He is now 4 yrs old and stands 16.3 hds, (Cassie is
tall)
Hudson (A.K.A. Director's Cut) and I went into our
first horse show. He went through Training Level tests 1
and 2 with flying colors. We got 1st place in each class we entered both
days, with a personal high score of 66.9 on TR. 2. This was a GIANT
achievement, since the judges were scoring very low that day. The
average score was 58. Since then we have received High Score Champion at
the show this past weekend. We ended up with the high score of 70.000 in
Tr. 2. He was GREAT!
Hudson has also made appearances in a couple
clinics, and has been complimented by some very noteworthy people in the
Dressage community. Debbie McDonald said he has a great temperament and
loads of potential. Tom Poulin just adored him and said he though Hudson
just *had* to be a German bred warmblood. And Paul Belasik loved working
with him. He said he wished all his young horses were as eager to learn
as Hudson.
This horse is truly my dream come true, and I just
can't thank you enough for helping me find him.

COLTON

Nicole is excited about how quick he learns and is coming
along nicely.
Nicole is riding for a woman who was on the U.S. Olympic dressage team and
learning lots of things to do with Colton and he is such a willing and quick
learner. Will do some local dressage shows this spring and summer.

FIFTY CALIBER
She is a Clyde/TB (Sire is Venator TB) owned by Debra Varney
I brought Caliber (aka Onxy & Isis ) home April 3, 2004. Just one month shy of 3
years old, skinny and standing at 16.3 Hands. I had no idea of what was to
come.
Caliber is now stands 17.2, is well muscled, willing, balanced
and solid all the way around!!
I want to say GREAT BIG THANK YOUS to Tom and Denise for starting Caliber off
with such a solid foundation, and to
Maraka for working so patiently with her on the ground for the year prior to my
bringing her home!
Without such wonderful, skilled people, I would not be living my dream!

Razzi will be 6 yrs old this year, she is owned by
Danika Kulczycki and
doing really well. Danika is planning to compete beginner novice on her
this year. She says "I am so happy to have her and she is a joy every day "!

MERCEDES
Mercedes is a 2002 filly,

We are having so
much fun with Mercedes. I know it looks like torture but she loves playing with
us. She is a darling. She is now 5 yrs, they
have successfully shown her English and Western. have sent us many pictures of her including doing parades, showing
English pleasure, trail riding , you name it, they have done it with this horse!
This year they are working on her dressage.

TANGO
Tango is a 3/4 Tb, 1/4 Clydesdale, 16.2 hd mare
owned and adored by Dr. Laura (Now Laura Thompson DVM) Tango is not only an
awesome event horse, she also played a big part in Laura's recent wedding!
